Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and POS system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently.
- Process orders quickly while ensuring each transaction is accurate and properly documented.
- Provide friendly, professional service to every guest, answering questions about menu items and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular sanitisation of equipment and work surfaces.
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery of food.
- Monitor inventory of cash drawer supplies, reconcile end‑of‑day receipts, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including regular hand‑washing and proper handling of food‑related payments.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, such as setting up the POS, counting cash, and securing the premises.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, promotional offers, and customer‑service best practices.
- Uphold the company’s cultural values, including punctuality for the five daily prayers and a strict non‑smoking policy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- At least 1 year of experience as a restaurant cashier, preferably in a fried‑chicken environment.
- Proficient in operating cash registers and modern POS systems.
- Ability to handle high‑volume transactions quickly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Commitment to performing the five daily prayers and maintaining a smoke‑free lifestyle (including vape and pod).
- Demonstrated good moral character and reliability.
- Soft skills: teamwork, effective communication, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of international cuisine preparation and kitchen hygiene is a plus.
