Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Hub SPX Express to join our logistics team in Kabupaten Paser, Kalimantan Timur. This pivotal role will be based in Tanah Grogot and will serve as the operational backbone of our hub, ensuring that parcels move seamlessly from pick‑up to final delivery. The successful candidate will lead a cross‑functional team, drive performance improvements, and uphold our commitment to on‑time, safe, and cost‑effective shipments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end parcel flow to guarantee timely deliveries, from the initial pick‑up through final customer hand‑over.
- Coordinate daily operations with the Warehouse team, Line Haul drivers, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement loss‑prevention strategies, minimizing the risk of lost or damaged packages through rigorous handling protocols.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, real‑time tracking, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, optimizing dock utilization, loading sequences, and shipment prioritization.
- Coach, mentor, and develop hub staff, conducting performance reviews, delivering targeted training, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rates, cost per parcel, and inventory turnover, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Maintain adherence to safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and lead incident investigations when necessary.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to generate reports, forecast demand, and support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the planning department to align shipping schedules with warehouse capacity and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including FIFO methodology.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualization).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret logistics data and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
- Willingness to relocate to Tanah Grogot, Kab. Paser, Kalimantan Timur, and work Monday‑Friday, 09:30‑18:30.
