Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer (Resident) to join our dynamic hospital team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in the pre‑hospital, emergency, and inpatient settings.

- Conduct bedside rounds, document clinical findings, and update electronic medical records accurately and promptly.
- Deliver clear, culturally sensitive health education to patients and their families, emphasizing preventive measures and post‑discharge care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Respond to urgent and emergent situations, applying Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and other resuscitation protocols as needed.
- Adhere to hospital shifting schedules, ensuring continuous coverage and seamless handover between shifts.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior medical staff and medical students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor of Medicine (S1) with a professional medical license.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and active STR (Specialist Training Registration) is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a multidisciplinary or teaching hospital.
- Full‑time availability with willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ethical judgment, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and health‑care teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, make rapid clinical decisions, and remain calm during emergencies.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer literacy.
