We are seeking a reliable and diligent Office Boy to join our growing team at the Astro Warehouse in Bogor. This entry‑level position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be stationed in the warehouse facility, working closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and the broader operations team to support daily activities and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and orderliness.
Responsibilities
The Office Boy will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and support tasks that ensure the warehouse remains a productive workspace. Key duties include:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all warehouse floors to eliminate dust, debris, and spills.
- Keeping workstations, tables, and chairs tidy and organized, promptly removing any clutter.
- Wiping down chillers, refrigerators, and other temperature‑controlled equipment to prevent buildup of grime and ensure food‑grade hygiene.
- Collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with company recycling and safety policies.
- Refilling water dispensers, checking filters, and ensuring a steady supply of clean drinking water for staff.
- Assisting with light logistical tasks such as moving boxes, stacking pallets, and supporting inventory checks when needed.
- Reporting any maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, leaking pipes) to the facility manager promptly.
- Participating in scheduled deep‑cleaning projects and seasonal sanitation drives.
- Adhering to safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and promoting a culture of workplace safety.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and demonstrate the soft skills essential for success in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the posting).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, facilities maintenance, or a similar support role.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing, walking, and lifting light to moderate loads for extended periods.
- Work Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work on national holidays, operate on a 6‑day work week with one day off, and adapt to rotating shift patterns.
- Reliability & Punctuality: Consistent attendance and the ability to start work promptly at 08:00.
- Communication Skills: Basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
- Team Orientation: Ability to collaborate with warehouse staff, respect hierarchy, and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
- Cleanliness Management Skills: Understanding of proper sanitation techniques and the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment.
