Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Pemimpin Hub for its Madiun, Jawa Timur operations. The Hub Leader will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring that every package moves efficiently from pickup to final delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in coordinating cross‑functional teams, optimizing processes, and developing staff to achieve operational excellence in a fast‑paced, last‑mile environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of parcels, from the initial pickup through to the final customer hand‑over.
- Coordinate daily activities with the Warehouse team, Line Haul operators, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to align schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to minimize lost or damaged packages, including proper handling procedures and real‑time issue escalation.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and reporting of inbound and outbound movements.
- Supervise inbound and outbound operations, maintaining optimal flow, capacity planning, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Train, coach, and develop hub staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
- Analyze performance metrics, generate daily/weekly operational reports, and recommend process enhancements to senior management.
- Maintain effective communication channels with customers, addressing delivery inquiries and providing proactive status updates.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, local regulations, and industry best practices throughout hub activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordinator experience in logistics, supply‑chain, or a related sector.
- Demonstrated experience in both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including inventory control and route optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead diverse teams and negotiate with external partners.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities and a focus on data‑driven decision making.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 09:30 – 18:30, and willingness to be based in Madiun, Jawa Timur.
