Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing chronic disease regimens.
- Assist patients with mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers, ensuring the prevention of falls and injuries.
- Support personal hygiene activities such as bathing, grooming, oral care, and dressing, while respecting the dignity and privacy of each client.
- Coordinate and oversee daily living activities, including meal preparation, nutrition monitoring, and adherence to prescribed dietary plans.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with Halocare.id’s standards and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for family members, providing regular updates on health status, progress, and any changes in care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to adjust care plans and ensure holistic treatment.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication usage, and preventive health measures.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or sudden changes in condition, executing appropriate first‑aid protocols and contacting emergency services when necessary.
- Live‑in with the patient, adapting work hours to the patient’s daily routine and being available for overnight monitoring as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional nursing certification or training is highly preferred.
- Age: 30 years or younger, with a mature and responsible attitude.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior professional experience required, but a genuine passion for elder care and willingness to learn are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and their families.
- Basic nursing competencies, including knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and vital sign assessment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, repositioning, and assisting with ambulation.
- Flexibility to work a live‑in schedule, including weekends and holidays, and to adapt to the patient’s personal routine.
- Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when caring for diverse client backgrounds.
