Introduction
We are seeking a talented Backend ERP System Developer to join our growing technology team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining the server‑side components of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform, which powers critical business processes for manufacturing, retail, and service companies across Southeast Asia. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and RESTful APIs that support core ERP modules such as finance, inventory, procurement, and human resources.
- Write clean, maintainable code in one or more of the required programming languages (Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP) following best practices and coding standards.
- Model, create, and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and secure access.
- Participate in system architecture discussions, contribute to high‑level design decisions, and help define scalable micro‑service patterns.
- Implement automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee reliability and reduce regression bugs.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and share knowledge through technical documentation and internal workshops.
- Monitor production environments, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and respond to incidents with timely root‑cause analysis and remediation.
- Collaborate closely with front‑end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and security standards to continuously improve the ERP platform.
Requirements
- Male or female candidates, maximum age 30 years.
- Minimum D3 or S1 degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in ERP or SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP.
- Solid understanding of REST API design principles and best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Familiarity with software architecture concepts, such as micro‑services, layered architecture, and design patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of delivering solutions under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and/or English, capable of working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
