Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized according to strict infection‑control protocols.
- Perform patient triage, record vital signs, and obtain accurate medical and dental histories to support clinical decision‑making.
- Administer local anesthesia under the supervision of the dentist, adhering to safety guidelines and monitoring patient responses.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post‑operative care, and preventive strategies to promote long‑term dental health.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in the electronic health‑record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, manage patient flow, and handle telephone inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, case reviews, and quality‑improvement initiatives to continuously enhance service delivery.
- Stay current with the latest advances in dental nursing, attending workshops, seminars, and in‑house training sessions.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of consumables and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including dental hygienists, orthodontists, and laboratory technicians—to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Dental Nursing or related field.
- Valid STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) qualification for Dental and Oral Therapy.
- Academic performance: GPA of at least 3.00.
- Female candidates only, as per clinic policy.
- Strong orientation toward patient service and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
- Proficiency with dental software and basic computer applications.
- Willingness to start immediately or within a short notice period.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic is a plus, but fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
