Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor Rekreasi dan Pengembangan Aktivitas to lead our recreation and activity development team. This role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for guests, driving service excellence, and continuously improving our leisure offerings. The ideal candidate will combine a solid hospitality background with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. The position operates Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional shift work on weekends and public holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily recreational programs, ensuring they align with brand standards and guest expectations.
- Develop new activity concepts, seasonal events, and special programs that increase guest engagement and revenue.
- Lead a team of activity coordinators, trainers, and support staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
- Monitor service quality, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
- Handle guest complaints promptly, investigate root causes, and deliver effective resolutions while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Collaborate with the Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Marketing departments to promote activities and integrate them into broader hotel packages.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, inventory of equipment, and budgetary controls to ensure cost‑effective operations.
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are adhered to, conducting regular risk assessments and staff training.
- Prepare reports on participation rates, revenue performance, and guest feedback for senior management review.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging recreational technologies, and best practices to keep the offering competitive.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree) in Hospitality, Tourism, Recreation Management, or a related field.
- At least 1‑3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or recreation sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
- Guest‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of delivering outstanding service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate and manage diverse team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing schedules, including shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional, disciplined appearance and demeanor; a well‑groomed presentation is expected.
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complaints efficiently.
