Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Ahli Pembuat Roti dan Pastry Profesional to join the culinary team of a prestigious international hotel brand. This full‑time position is based in a vibrant city hub and offers a dynamic work environment where creativity meets high‑volume service. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a wide range of breads, pastries, and baked goods that meet the exacting standards of our discerning guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a diverse assortment of breads, viennoiseries, cakes, and specialty pastries for hotel restaurants, banquet services, and room‑service menus.
  • Develop and execute daily production schedules, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining product freshness and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, place orders, and conduct regular stock checks to minimize waste.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations in accordance with hotel policies and local health codes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen stations to align baked goods with menu concepts and guest preferences.
  • Utilize the Power Pro System for production planning, cost control, and reporting of baking yields.
  • Train junior bakers and kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • Innovate new recipes and seasonal items, incorporating local ingredients and international trends to keep the offering fresh and exciting.
  • Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshoot baking machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to special dietary requests and feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a baker/pastry chef in an international hotel chain.
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken – to communicate effectively with guests and multinational team members.
  • Proficient with the Power Pro System for inventory and production management.
  • Demonstrated good attitude, reliability, and a proven track record of delivering high‑quality baked products.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
