Introduction
We are seeking a passionate Professional Barista to join our specialty coffee team. The role is based in a modern, high‑traffic outlet that serves a diverse clientele ranging from daily commuters to coffee enthusiasts. Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, offering a steady schedule with ample opportunity for skill development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including regular cleaning of equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, answering menu questions, and suggesting pairings or seasonal drinks.
- Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate ordering needs to the store manager.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and equipment checks.
- Stay up‑to‑date with coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new product launches to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Support team members during peak periods, fostering a collaborative and friendly work environment.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 20 – 30 years.
- Gender: Preference given to female candidates, though all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as a barista is highly preferred; fresh graduates with strong enthusiasm are also considered.
- Demonstrated barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and knowledge of coffee bean origins.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
