Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Telecollection to join our dynamic team in Yogyakarta. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio by engaging with borrowers, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring compliance with established collection procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a solid understanding of credit collection practices within the Indonesian financial regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
- Contact delinquent borrowers via telephone, WhatsApp, and other approved digital channels to initiate the collection process.
- Negotiate payment dates, amounts, and repayment schedules that are realistic for the debtor while meeting company targets.
- Ensure every collection activity adheres strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the latest OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions, updating the CRM system after each call or message.
- Prepare and submit periodic reconciliation reports that detail outstanding balances, recovered amounts, and key performance metrics such as promise-to-pay rates and recovery ratios.
- Focus collection efforts on accounts within the 30‑60 day and 60‑90 day delinquency buckets, applying tailored strategies for each segment.
- Collaborate with the credit risk and legal teams to flag high‑risk accounts and recommend escalation when necessary.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to share best practices, discuss challenging cases, and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Continuously monitor market trends and regulatory updates that may affect collection strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in collection, tele‑sales, or related customer‑facing roles.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 6 months) as a Desk Collection Agent or Tele‑Sales representative.
- OJK SLIK (Sistem Layanan Informasi Keuangan) rating not worse than Kolom 3.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday, 08:00‑17:00, including occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and digital communication platforms.
