Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and diligent individual to join our culinary team as a Platter – Penanggung Jawab Penyajian Makanan. This role is essential for ensuring that every dish leaves the kitchen looking appealing, safe, and ready to delight our guests. The successful candidate will work closely with chefs, kitchen assistants, and front‑of‑house staff to maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene, and efficiency in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange food platters according to the restaurant’s visual standards and menu specifications.
- Ensure all plated dishes are garnished appropriately, temperature‑controlled, and served within the designated time frame.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor inventory of garnishing items, sauces, and presentation tools; report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Coordinate with the kitchen brigade to prioritize orders during peak service periods, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Train junior staff on proper plating techniques, waste segregation, and proper disposal of food waste.
- Conduct regular inspections of plating equipment and request maintenance when necessary.
- Assist in the development of new plating concepts that reflect current culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
- Participate in daily briefings, sharing feedback on service performance and suggesting improvements.
- Uphold a professional attitude, displaying courtesy and respect to colleagues and customers at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
