Introduction
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Tutor (Guru Les Privat) to join our educational team in the vibrant community of Karanganyar. As a private tutor, you will work closely with students in a one‑on‑one or small‑group setting, customizing lessons to match each learner’s unique needs and learning style.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects, including language, mathematics, science, and social studies, tailored to the curriculum standards of TK, SD, SMP, and SMA.
- Assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement through informal observations and formal assessments, then create individualized learning plans.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and, when appropriate, to parents or guardians to keep them informed of progress.
- Maintain a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, using visual aids, interactive activities, and digital resources.
- Track attendance, lesson completion, and performance metrics, submitting regular reports to the coordinating office.
- Stay current with educational trends, curriculum updates, and teaching technologies to continually enhance instructional quality.
- Participate in periodic training sessions, staff meetings, and community outreach events organized by the tutoring center.
- Adhere to the agreed‑upon teaching schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability for every session.
Requirements
- Female candidates only.
- Minimum education: active university student in the final semester or a graduate with a bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; candidates with a background in education are preferred.
- Minimum age requirement is open; however, candidates should possess a mature and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and interacting with children and adolescents.
- Ability to teach subjects across all grade levels from kindergarten to high school.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Neat, courteous appearance and professional attire.
- Willingness to work according to the scheduled hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Residency within or near Karanganyar is a distinct advantage.
- Basic proficiency in lesson planning, classroom management, and use of educational technology tools.
