Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar, and ensure any special requests are noted.
- Serve dishes and drinks efficiently, checking back with guests to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring condiments are stocked.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting up dining stations, polishing glassware, and performing end‑of‑day cash reconciliations.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
- Handle guest payments, process credit card transactions, and issue receipts while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper food handling and regular sanitation of workstations.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, upselling techniques, and overall service excellence.
- Provide feedback to management on guest preferences, menu popularity, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old, female, and unmarried.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or food‑and‑beverage stall.
- Strong communication skills; ability to speak clearly and courteously with guests.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and punctuality.
- Team‑player attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing service demands.
- Not currently enrolled in school or university; full‑time availability.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and drinks.
- Basic barista skills and knowledge of various food‑presentation techniques are a plus.
- Ability to work the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00, Monday through Friday (exact days to be confirmed).
