Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Motorist to join our dynamic field team. This role focuses on building strong relationships with small‑scale retail outlets such as kios, kelontong, and warung, ensuring our product portfolio reaches end‑consumers efficiently and profitably. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess strong negotiation skills, and be comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with the team leader.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and secure new retail outlets (kios, kelontong, warung) within the assigned Mamuju territory according to client‑provided criteria.
  • Present product features, benefits, and promotional programs to store owners, tailoring pitches to meet their specific needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and order quantities while safeguarding margin targets.
  • Maintain a daily activity log, recording visits, sales figures, stock levels, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and submit a concise daily report to the Team Leader, highlighting achievements, challenges, and required support.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing actionable insights to the regional manager.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and proper merchandising of products.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, product launches, and promotional events to stay up‑to‑date with the latest offerings.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only, as the position involves extensive travel on a motorbike.
  • At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or automotive accessories.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust quickly with small‑business owners.
  • Self‑discipline to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and manage a personal schedule independently.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile reporting tools and Microsoft Excel for daily report compilation.
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable motorbike for field visits.
