Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Officer to join our branch office in Padang. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence by promoting the company’s product portfolio to both existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the sales process, handling credit applications, and ensuring a seamless post‑sale experience. Responsibilities
- Proactively offer and present the company’s products and services to existing accounts and new prospects, tailoring solutions to meet individual customer needs.
- Generate orders through the channel distribution network, including initial data collection, verification of client information, and preparation of all required documentation for credit applications.
- Monitor the progress of credit applications, liaise with the credit department, and promptly communicate approval or rejection decisions to dealers and customers.
- Provide customers with critical information such as payment due dates, collection locations, and any additional requirements to ensure timely settlements.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, logistics, and after‑sales teams to guarantee product availability and high service standards.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to propose strategic initiatives that increase market share.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in any discipline; graduates from any field are encouraged to apply.
- Age limit: Maximum 30 years at the time of application.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
- Work experience: At least 1 year in a similar sales or credit‑handling role; fresh graduates may be considered if they demonstrate strong potential.
- Key skills:
- Strong B2C sales management and target‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to close deals.
- High integrity, attention to detail, perseverance, and honesty.
- Ability to understand and achieve sales targets.
- Possession of a valid SIM A/C and personal vehicle for field visits.
- Willingness to be placed in a location that aligns with the candidate’s domicile.
- Work schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
