Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Jakarta Selatan. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive social support services to individuals, families, and community groups in need. This full‑time position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday (08:00 – 17:00) and provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the well‑being of vulnerable populations while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop personalized intervention plans for clients.
- Provide ongoing case management, counseling, and advocacy for individuals, families, and community groups.
- Coordinate and monitor social assistance programs, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and reach the intended beneficiaries.
- Prepare detailed activity reports, progress notes, and statistical data using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Facilitate communication and cooperation with government agencies, NGOs, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to optimize service delivery.
- Organize and lead community outreach events, workshops, and educational sessions on topics such as child protection, health access, and socio‑economic empowerment.
- Maintain accurate client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D4/S1 in Social Welfare, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in social work, community development, or a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, high empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse cultural and socio‑economic backgrounds.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to ethical standards.
- Proficiency with internet research and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent administrative and organizational capabilities, including file preparation, documentation, and record‑keeping.
- Key skills: Advocacy for children, interpersonal relations, team collaboration, needs analysis, and health system navigation.
