Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Sorter Ekspedisi to join our fast‑growing logistics hub at Kosambi Distribution Center (DC). This role is pivotal in ensuring that parcels move smoothly through the facility, from receipt to dispatch, supporting our commitment to on‑time delivery for thousands of customers daily. The position offers a stable Monday‑to‑Sunday schedule with full‑time hours from 08:00 to 17:00.
Responsibilities
- Sort packages accurately according to destination area or shipment code, using both visual cues and system prompts.
- Load and unload goods from operational vehicles, ensuring safe handling and adherence to weight limits.
- Scan each parcel into the warehouse management system, verifying barcode integrity and updating tracking information in real time.
- Arrange sorted items neatly on designated racks or pallets, conducting visual inspections to detect any signs of damage.
- Assist supervisors with loading and unloading operations, following specific routing and priority instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by sweeping aisles, disposing of waste, and keeping workstations tidy.
- Report any discrepancies, missing items, or equipment malfunctions to the shift lead promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily throughput targets and uphold service level agreements.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 40 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by current operational guidelines).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move parcels weighing up to 25 kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
- Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude toward supervisors and peers.
- Commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a hazard‑free workspace.
