Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting outreach in villages, markets, and community events, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and benefits.
- Provide personalized economic counseling to member households, helping them develop sustainable income‑generation plans and improve financial literacy.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s risk‑assessment policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each prospect, including income verification, collateral evaluation, and repayment capacity.
- Coordinate and execute the collection process, following up with borrowers on repayment schedules, addressing payment issues, and negotiating solutions when needed.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system, updating borrower status, field observations, and any challenges encountered.
- Collaborate with the regional support team and senior managers to refine outreach strategies, share market insights, and propose improvements to loan products.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community workshops to stay current on financial products, digital tools, and best practices in micro‑finance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years accepted for flexibility).
- Both male and female candidates are welcome; female candidates are highly preferred.
- Own reliable motorbike or car to travel daily across the assigned area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Strong analytical mindset: comfortable assessing financial data and making objective credit decisions.
- High level of integrity, honesty, attention to detail, resilience, and self‑discipline.
- Willingness to work in the field every day, often in remote or challenging environments.
- Prior experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus, but fresh graduates with the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
