Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Salesman Retail – Customer Service Representative to join our fast‑growing FMCG distribution team. In this role, you will act as the brand’s frontline ambassador, ensuring that our promotional materials are perfectly displayed, our products are readily available, and sales targets are consistently achieved across a network of retail outlets. The position offers a unique blend of field sales, merchandising, and customer service, providing a solid platform for career advancement in the consumer goods industry.

Responsibilities

  • Install and arrange promotional material (posters, signage, wobblers, POP displays) at designated retail outlets, ensuring brand standards are met.
  • Execute direct sales activities, engaging customers, explaining product benefits, and closing sales to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits to monitor promotional activities, verify stock levels, and ensure product visibility on shelves.
  • Gather market intelligence during visits, reporting competitor actions, pricing changes, and consumer feedback to the regional sales manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, promotional compliance, and inventory using the company’s mobile CRM platform.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate product deliveries and resolve stock‑out situations promptly.
  • Participate in quarterly training sessions to stay updated on new product launches, merchandising techniques, and sales strategies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing retailer inquiries, handling complaints, and building long‑term relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a promoter, merchandiser, or sales representative in the FMCG sector.
  • Active SIM C driving license and personal motorbike for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Strong sales mindset with the ability to set, track, and achieve performance targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with retail owners, store managers, and end‑consumers.
  • Proficiency in basic data entry and familiarity with mobile CRM or reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to varying outlet schedules.
  • Willingness to be placed in any designated area and travel extensively throughout the region.
