Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) to represent our leading baby product brand in the Banjarmasin market. This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, educating consumers, and increasing sales of our high‑quality FMCG baby care items. The ideal candidate will be a confident, communication‑savvy woman who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and can build lasting relationships with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate baby product lines at supermarkets, pharmacies, and specialty stores across the assigned territory.
- Engage shoppers with product sampling, answer questions, and provide detailed information on benefits, usage, and safety.
- Achieve daily and weekly sales targets through effective upselling and cross‑selling techniques.
- Maintain attractive product displays, ensure proper signage, and manage inventory levels at point‑of‑sale locations.
- Collect market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback, and report findings to the regional sales manager.
- Attend training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay current on new launches and promotional campaigns.
- Provide accurate daily sales reports, activity logs, and customer interaction summaries using company‑provided tools.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute in‑store events, giveaways, and promotional contests that boost brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations while representing the brand.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only; must be comfortable working in a predominantly female‑focused role.
- Age: 21‑28 years old.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as an SPG, preferably in FMCG or baby product categories.
- Resides in the Jabodetabek area and is willing to travel to Banjarmasin for assignments.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey product benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Strong selling aptitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday, from 08:00 to 17:00, including occasional weekend events.
