Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Housekeeping to join our five‑star hotel team. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction that our luxury property is known for. The successful candidate will work closely with the housekeeping supervisor and other hotel departments to ensure every guest experiences a pristine and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to guarantee compliance with five‑star quality standards, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage linen, towels, and amenity inventories, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and fire‑extinguishing (APAR) devices.
- Follow security protocols and perform routine safety checks, leveraging the Gada Pratama certification knowledge.
- Assist guests with special requests such as extra pillows, turndown service, and in‑room amenities, demonstrating a service‑oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk and maintenance teams to coordinate room turnover schedules and resolve any guest concerns quickly.
- Participate in regular training sessions on hygiene standards, sustainable cleaning practices, and emergency response procedures.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous coverage and seamless operation of the hotel.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s brand image through disciplined conduct and excellent communication.
Requirements
- Male, maximum age 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Possession of a valid Gada Pratama (first‑aid) certificate.
- Proficient in basic security measures and confident in the use of APAR fire extinguishers.
- Well‑groomed, disciplined, with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, with solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Residence preferably in Pemalang or surrounding areas.
