Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Collector (Staf Penagihan) to join our finance team in the Bontang area. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with customers to secure outstanding payments, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain accurate records of collection activities. The role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with some experience in field collection who possess a valid motorcycle license and their own vehicle. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and will be expected to travel throughout the designated territory to meet clients face‑to‑face.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers for debt collection, ensuring professionalism and adherence to company standards.
- Explain payment obligations clearly and propose tailored repayment solutions that align with the client’s financial situation.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports detailing visits, outcomes, and progress toward collection targets.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records in the company’s collection management system, logging all communications and agreements.
- Follow established collection procedures and comply with relevant local regulations and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as credit, legal, and customer service—to resolve disputes and accelerate payment cycles.
- Identify patterns of recurring delinquency and provide feedback to management for process improvement.
- Represent the company’s brand positively while safeguarding its reputation during all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) is preferred.
- Male candidates only, aged 18‑32 years.
- Zero to several years of collection or customer‑facing experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Active motorcycle ownership with a valid SIM C license.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage a daily schedule, and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to be stationed in the Bontang area and travel extensively within the assigned zone.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and data entry.
