Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Sales Promotion Girls/Boys (SPG/SPB) to represent our brand in the bustling Makassar area. This role focuses on driving awareness and adoption of Grab’s digital services—including GrabBike and GrabCar—by engaging directly with customers at high‑traffic locations such as universities, malls, hospitals, and public squares. The position offers flexible weekday and weekend shifts, allowing you to work in a dynamic environment while developing valuable sales and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Approach pedestrians and shoppers at designated sites (e.g., Somba Opu, Mall Ratu Indah, UNHAS Tamalanrea) and introduce them to the Grab app.
- Guide customers through the download process, assist in creating their first Grab account, and ensure they understand how to place a ride or bike order.
- Demonstrate the benefits of Grab’s services, highlighting safety features, pricing, and convenience to encourage trial usage.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company’s branding guidelines at all times.
- Collect and report daily foot‑traffic metrics, conversion rates, and customer feedback to the regional supervisor.
- Collaborate with other field promoters to coordinate coverage schedules and maximize outreach during peak hours (14:00‑22:00).
- Handle basic inquiries about payment methods, promotional codes, and ride‑hailing safety, escalating complex issues to the support team as needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new features, promotions, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years old; all genders are welcome.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a friendly demeanor that builds trust with customers.
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or previous SPG/SPB roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently during shifts from Tuesday to Sunday, 14:00‑22:00.
- Reliable transportation to reach various locations across Gowa and Makassar.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and familiarity with mobile applications.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
