Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Quran memorization lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and religious standards.
- Prepare daily lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools to track student progress.
- Provide individualized support to students struggling with memorization, employing diverse teaching methodologies.
- Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities such as Quran recitation competitions, Islamic study circles, and community service projects.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, offering regular updates on their child’s development and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Islamic values across subjects, fostering a cohesive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and continuous training, including English language courses offered by the school.
- Uphold the school’s code of conduct, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and spiritually enriching atmosphere for all students.
- Assist in curriculum review and suggest improvements that reflect contemporary pedagogical practices and religious teachings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) preferably in Education, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Age: 28 years or younger, with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, candidates must identify as Muslim (muslimah/muslim) to align with the school’s religious ethos.
- Marital status: Unmarried applicants are preferred, reflecting the school’s current policy for this position.
- Willingness to learn and improve English proficiency, supporting both personal development and school initiatives.
- Demonstrated skill in teaching methodology development (Pengembangan Keterampilan Mengajar).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in students and parents alike.
- Strong organizational abilities, punctuality, and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to the school’s work schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
