This full‑time position supports the daily operations of a busy commercial kitchen, ensuring that food preparation areas remain clean, organized, and safe for both staff and guests. Responsibilities

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils following HACCP and local health regulations.
  • Prepare and organize workstations for each shift, including stocking ingredients, checking inventory levels, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
  • Operate standard kitchen machinery such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and dishwashers safely and efficiently.
  • Assist chefs and line cooks by performing basic food preparation tasks, portioning, and plating support as directed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of kitchen tools and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours and special events.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of knives, hot equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure, particularly on weekends and public holidays.
  • Document daily cleaning logs and assist in preparing reports for management audits.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new kitchen technologies and sanitation best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders.
  • At least 0 years of experience in a similar kitchen or food‑service role; prior experience is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated traits of diligence, honesty, discipline, and strong accountability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, cleanliness, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities, both within a team and independently.
  • Proven capacity to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Willingness to follow supervisory directions and company policies.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
  • Proficiency in operating standard kitchen equipment and basic maintenance checks.
