Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities of the public area staff, including front‑desk agents, bell‑hops, and concierge personnel.
- Coordinate and monitor cleaning, maintenance, and safety protocols to ensure all public spaces meet brand standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, providing swift and effective resolutions.
- Develop and implement service training programs that reinforce a guest‑oriented mindset and enhance team performance.
- Maintain accurate records of shift schedules, staffing levels, and inventory of supplies for lobby and public‑area amenities.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, security, and facilities departments to manage peak‑time traffic and special events.
- Conduct regular audits of public areas to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators such as guest satisfaction scores and incident logs.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including fire safety drills and emergency response procedures.
- Mentor junior staff, providing constructive feedback, performance appraisals, and career development guidance.
Requirements
- Minimum of a D3/D4 degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1‑3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role within the hospitality sector.
- Proven background in hotel or resort operations is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service with a genuine, service‑mindset orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
