Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused Waiters/Waitresses to join the full‑service team at Kue Balok, a well‑known bakery and café located in the bustling Rajabasa district. This is a fast‑paced, guest‑centric role where you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every patron enjoys a seamless dining experience from the moment they step through the door until they leave satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of our specialty pastries, beverages, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using our POS system, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery to the table.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and adhering to health‑safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, address any concerns immediately, and coordinate with management to resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and fellow waitstaff to manage high‑volume service periods, especially during weekend peaks.
- Handle cash and electronic payments securely, process receipts, and balance the register at the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory checks of dining supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and glassware, and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular staff briefings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotional offers, and service standards.
- Uphold the brand’s reputation by embodying professionalism, punctuality, and a courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, aged 28 years or younger.
- At least one (1) year of prior experience in a full‑service restaurant, café, or bakery setting.
- Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact politely with diverse guests.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, supporting colleagues during busy service periods.
- Flexibility to work six days a week, including weekends, from 09:00 to 21:00.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine interest in the culinary arts, especially baked goods.
