Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive Senior – Business Development to join our growing dental equipment division in Surakarta. This full‑time position operates Monday through Saturday, from 08:30 to 16:30, and involves regular travel to client sites across the region. Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a comprehensive portfolio of dental instruments and equipment to dental clinics, hospitals, and independent practitioners.
  • Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and technical briefings to showcase product benefits and differentiate our solutions from competitors.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture new sales prospects while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop and execute a structured sales plan, including weekly and monthly customer visit schedules, to achieve and exceed territory targets.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate timely delivery of orders, ensuring product availability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights for product development and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analyses for senior management review.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from initial contact through contract negotiation, order processing, and post‑sale follow‑up, including collection of payments.
  • Participate in regional trade shows, seminars, and industry events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Continuously improve personal product knowledge through training sessions and stay current with regulatory standards in the medical‑device sector.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in any discipline; a background in health sciences or business is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of proven sales experience in medical representation, pharmaceutical sales, or medical‑device (Alkes) distribution.
  • Demonstrated success in non‑management, retail or general sales environments, with a track record of meeting or surpassing quotas.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build trust, present complex technical information clearly, and negotiate effectively.
  • Professional appearance, honesty, and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Surakarta region and occasionally beyond.
  • Key competencies: sales analysis, strategic planning, customer relationship management, and ethical communication.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office suite, and basic data reporting.
