Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a clear explanation of daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems, and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor table status, refill drinks, respond to guest requests, and address any concerns or complaints with tact and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and resetting stations for the next service.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to synchronize service flow and minimize wait times.
- Adhere strictly to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health regulations, and company policies regarding hygiene, safety, and customer service.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, post‑shift debriefs, and ongoing training sessions to continuously improve service quality.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, process receipts, and balance the till at the end of each shift.
- Promote upselling opportunities by suggesting complementary items, desserts, or specialty drinks to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 27 years old or younger; both male and female candidates are welcome.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English are preferred.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a willingness to follow established SOPs.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work full‑time, including shift schedules from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques; prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates as needed.
