Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Cat Grooming Specialist to join our dynamic animal care team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive grooming services for cats, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling, while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assess each cat’s temperament and health condition before grooming, identifying any signs of skin issues, parasites, or injuries and reporting them to the veterinary team.
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming station and ensure all tools (clippers, brushes, shampoos) are sanitized and properly stored after each use.
- Educate pet owners on proper at‑home grooming practices, recommend suitable grooming products, and provide advice on seasonal coat care.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, manage client records, and handle payment transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest grooming trends, feline behavior techniques, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to handle special requests, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate client needs and maintain optimal service coverage.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, age 30 years or younger.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in cat grooming or a related animal care field is highly preferred; however, strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Genuine love for cats and a calm demeanor when handling animals of various temperaments.
- Excellent personal integrity—honest, disciplined, and highly responsible.
- Ability to work in a shift system, including weekends and public holidays, with reliable punctuality.
- Basic knowledge of cat anatomy, skin health, and safe handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
