Responsibilities
- Prepare batter, dough, and frosting according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and high quality.
- Design and execute cake decorations that match customer specifications, including fondant modeling, buttercream piping, hand‑painting, and sugar‑craft techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to food safety regulations and internal hygiene standards.
- Collaborate closely with the bakery’s front‑of‑house staff to manage order timelines, handle special requests, and provide accurate delivery estimates.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage, notifying supervisors of low stock, and suggesting alternative supplies when necessary.
- Participate in weekly product development meetings, contributing fresh ideas for seasonal designs, themed collections, and promotional items.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions about cake designs, and offering professional advice on flavor and décor options.
- Ensure all finished cakes are packaged securely for transport to the BSD placement location, minimizing damage during delivery.
- Continuously improve skills through on‑the‑job training, online tutorials, and industry workshops.
Requirements
- Age between 18‑25 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability in baking and cake decorating, with a portfolio of previous work preferred.
- Strong sense of discipline, honesty, and responsibility.
- High level of initiative and excellent communication skills.
- Neat personal appearance and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Residence in Tangerang Selatan or nearby areas (BSD preferred).
