Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, clearly communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended pairings of Indonesian dishes.
- Serve dishes and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and portion control.
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience, refilling drinks, addressing any concerns, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and fellow service staff to maintain smooth workflow and timely service.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, process bills, and manage end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and adhering to hygiene standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, service protocols, and safety procedures.
- Provide feedback to management on guest preferences, recurring issues, and opportunities for service improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification; High School (SMA/SMK) graduates with a basic hospitality background are highly preferred.
- Age: Must be 35 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar waiter or front‑of‑house position.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with basic Indonesian cuisine and the ability to explain dishes to guests.
- Skills: Strong food and beverage service skills, excellent communication, quick decision‑making, and a courteous attitude.
- Personal Traits: Honesty, agility, teamwork orientation, and the ability to work independently when required.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
