Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Kitchen Operations to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food quality and service excellence. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight, hands‑on kitchen management, and innovative product development to ensure our brand consistently exceeds guest expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in the food‑and‑beverage (F&B) industry, a passion for culinary creativity, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and elevate product quality and service standards in alignment with company guidelines and food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate daily activities among kitchen staff, baristas, and servers to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, conducting regular inspections and corrective actions.
  • Implement robust supervisory processes, generate operational reports, and proactively resolve any issues that arise during service.
  • Manage inventory control, conduct accurate stock counts, and optimize ordering procedures to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Drive menu innovation by researching trends, testing new recipes, and introducing seasonal or specialty items.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for kitchen personnel, focusing on technique, safety, and customer‑centric service.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, motivate staff, and implement performance‑based feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations, preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the culinary department.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; culinary certifications are a plus.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in an F&B kitchen environment, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Passion for food service and a deep understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and basic financial reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Tuesdays through Sundays, 07:00 – 16:00.
