Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and courteous Professional Waiter – Guest Service Specialist to join our hospitality team. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining experience, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well cared for. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, escort them to their tables, and present menus with confidence.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage pairings to answer guest inquiries and provide recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of table setting, cleanliness, and overall restaurant ambience throughout each shift.
- Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, address any concerns immediately, and coordinate with management to resolve issues.
- Process payments efficiently, handle cash and electronic transactions, and issue receipts.
- Collaborate closely with fellow waitstaff, chefs, and support personnel to ensure smooth service flow and optimal guest experiences.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings, training sessions, and post‑service evaluations to improve performance.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking of condiments, and preparation of service stations at the start of each shift.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 28 years old.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the employer).
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a strong service mindset are welcome.
- Key Skills: Proficient in food and beverage service, strong communication abilities, and a friendly demeanor.
- Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork, adaptability, problem‑solving aptitude, and a keen eye for detail.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and move swiftly within a fast‑paced environment.
