We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Officer to join our team in Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. This role is pivotal in empowering women from low‑income households by providing business mentorship, financial literacy, and access to micro‑finance solutions. As a front‑line professional, you will build trusted relationships within the community, helping clients develop sustainable income streams and achieve greater economic independence.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned neighborhoods and conduct regular outreach to women entrepreneurs, assessing their business needs and providing hands‑on guidance.
  • Deliver financial‑literacy workshops that cover budgeting, simple bookkeeping, disciplined savings, and effective loan repayment strategies.
  • Facilitate group‑based micro‑financing without collateral, ensuring that each client receives appropriate capital to expand or launch a micro‑enterprise.
  • Listen attentively to client concerns, identify gaps in services, and propose tailored solutions that align with both client goals and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress reports, and financial transactions using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—such as credit analysts, product development, and compliance—to streamline the delivery of services.
  • Represent the organization at community events, local government meetings, and partnership gatherings to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Continuously monitor repayment schedules, follow up on overdue installments, and provide counseling to prevent defaults.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance metrics to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Female candidates only; gender requirement aligns with program focus on women empowerment.
  • Age between 18 and 33 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3 or S1 degree is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for social interaction and community building.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, local dialects.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; detail‑oriented and organized.
  • Adaptability, problem‑solving mindset, and a high level of personal integrity.
