Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for grades 7‑12, aligning with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Utilize ICT tools (interactive whiteboards, learning management systems, and educational software) to enhance student understanding and foster interactive learning.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing timely feedback and individualized support.
- Organize remedial and enrichment sessions for students who need extra help or who demonstrate advanced abilities.
- Incorporate Quranic verses and moral teachings where appropriate, reinforcing the school’s Islamic ethos while maintaining academic rigor.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and collaborative curriculum planning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans in accordance with school policies.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as math clubs, competitions, and community outreach programs.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics from an accredited university (minimum accreditation B).
- GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Maximum age of 27 years (both male and female applicants are welcome).
- Proficient in reading the Qur’an with proper tajwid.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong ICT competency: ability to operate computers, internet resources, and educational software.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a similar cultural or religious setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics, motivate students, and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles.
