Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Operational Vehicle Driver to join our growing logistics team. This full‑time position is based in a dynamic industrial environment where the successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting personnel, equipment, and materials across multiple sites. The role demands a high level of physical fitness, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and engineering crews. Candidates must possess a valid Indonesian driving licence (SIM A and SIM C) and demonstrate an understanding of basic electrical installations to support our operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles (cars, vans, and light trucks) to deliver goods, tools, and personnel according to daily schedules.
- Conduct pre‑trip inspections, checking fuel levels, oil, tire pressure, brakes, and safety equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning, and minor repairs, reporting any major issues to the fleet manager promptly.
- Assist the engineering department by transporting and positioning equipment related to electrical installations, ensuring cables and devices are handled safely.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, documenting mileage, fuel consumption, trip details, and any incidents that occur on the road.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Support emergency response efforts by providing rapid transportation for personnel or equipment when required.
- Uphold company policies regarding punctuality, dress code, and professional conduct, serving as a positive representative of the organization.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, in good physical health and possessing a sound mental attitude.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid and active SIM A (car) and SIM C (motorcycle) licences.
- Basic understanding of electrical installation concepts and safety practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with supervisors and peers.
- High level of honesty, discipline, and responsibility; a clean driving record is essential.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime for urgent tasks.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks under time pressure.
- Willingness to undergo regular health checks to verify physical and mental fitness.
