Introduction

The Team Leader – Sales (Regional Account Management) is a pivotal role within our growing organization, responsible for driving revenue across multiple territories and ensuring the sales team consistently meets and exceeds its objectives. This position reports directly to the Sales Director and works closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and deliver a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a data‑driven mindset, and the capacity to inspire a diverse group of sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans that align with corporate goals, incorporating market analysis, competitive intelligence, and forecast modeling.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of account executives and junior sales representatives, conducting regular performance reviews, setting individual KPIs, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Monitor daily operations, track sales pipeline health, and adjust tactics in real time to address gaps or capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to design targeted campaigns, promotional activities, and lead‑generation initiatives that support regional growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, negotiate contracts, and resolve escalated client issues to ensure long‑term partnership satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to senior leadership, highlighting successes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee budgeting for the regional sales team, ensuring efficient allocation of travel, communication, and operational expenses.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could impact the sales landscape, sharing insights with the team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging knowledge sharing, best‑practice workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: Open to all academic levels; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 0‑2 years of sales experience; prior leadership or team‑leadership exposure is advantageous.

  • Core Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities, proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, and strong team‑leadership capabilities.
  • Personal Attributes: High emotional intelligence, problem‑solving orientation, resilience under pressure, and a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
  • Technical Competence: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic knowledge of sales analytics tools.
  • Language: Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English.
  • Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 07:30‑17:00, with occasional travel to regional client sites.
