Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Asisten Apoteker to join our dynamic pharmacy team and provide essential support to our licensed pharmacists. This role is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive accurate medication counseling, timely prescription processing, and a seamless pharmacy experience. Responsibilities
- Assist the head pharmacist in receiving, verifying, and dispensing prescription orders accurately.
- Prepare and label medication containers, ensuring proper dosage, expiration dates, and patient instructions.
- Maintain organized inventory of pharmaceuticals, over‑the‑counter products, and medical supplies.
- Conduct preliminary patient interviews to collect relevant medical history and medication usage information.
- Provide basic counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage recommendations under pharmacist supervision.
- Manage the pharmacy’s computer system for prescription entry, refills, and insurance claim processing.
- Support the preparation of compounded medications, following sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor and report any adverse drug reactions or medication errors promptly.
- Assist with routine cleaning, sanitation, and compliance checks to meet health authority regulations.
- Participate in continuous education sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new drugs, therapeutic guidelines, and pharmacy best practices.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (Perempuan) – role is designated for women in accordance with company policy.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Pharmacy or a related health science field.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum age limit as per local labor regulations).
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Knowledge of prescription interpretation, drug nomenclature, and basic pharmacology.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey medication information clearly to diverse patients.
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and basic computer literacy.
- Professional demeanor, empathy, and a patient‑centered attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet pharmacy operational needs.
