Responsibilities
- Proactively approach shoppers in partner stores and clearly present the benefits of the Shopee PayLater product.
- Explain the application process, eligibility criteria, and usage steps, ensuring customers understand how to activate and use PayLater for their purchases.
- Persuade hesitant customers by addressing objections, highlighting convenience, and demonstrating real‑time transaction examples.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor to build lasting relationships, encouraging repeat usage and positive word‑of‑mouth.
- Track daily interactions and conversion rates, reporting insights to the regional sales manager to refine outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with store staff to place promotional materials, set up demo stations, and organize mini‑events that boost product visibility.
- Stay updated on Shopee PayLater policy changes, promotional campaigns, and competitor offerings to provide accurate information.
- Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven sales or customer‑facing experience, preferably in financial services, retail, or e‑commerce.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Analytical mindset for assessing sales data and customer feedback.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.
- Ability to work the designated schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 – 20:00.
- Willingness to travel within Surabaya and Sidoarjo for store visits and promotional events.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications for data entry and transaction tracking.
