We are seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Baker to join our dynamic bakery team on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the daily production of high‑quality breads, pastries, and specialty cakes while upholding our bakery’s standards for taste, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the head baker in preparing doughs, batters, and fillings according to standardized recipes.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients with precision, ensuring consistency across all baked goods.
  • Operate ovens, mixers, proofing cabinets, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to strict food‑safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Perform routine inventory checks, restock raw materials, and report any shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill large orders, custom cake requests, and seasonal product lines.
  • Assist in decorating cakes and pastries, applying creative techniques while following client specifications.
  • Handle packaging, labeling, and proper storage of finished products to preserve freshness.
  • Work under pressure during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of products without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

  • At least 0‑1 year of experience in a bakery or similar food‑production environment; prior experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

  • Comfortable handling stressful situations and meeting tight production deadlines.
  • Creative mindset, especially in cake decoration and product presentation.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.
