Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Attendant – Housekeeping & Guest Room Services to join our dynamic hotel team. This role is essential in ensuring that every guest experiences a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of room cleanliness, adhering to brand guidelines, and supporting the overall guest experience with professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitation.
- Restock room amenities such as toiletries, linens, coffee supplies, and minibar items according to hotel standards.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all work meets quality benchmarks and report any maintenance issues to the engineering team promptly.
- Manage the collection and sorting of used linens and towels, ensuring they are sent to the laundry department in a timely manner.
- Follow the hotel’s safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of room status, cleaning times, and inventory levels using the property management system.
- Collaborate with front‑desk staff to prioritize room turnovers during peak check‑in/check‑out periods.
- Participate in periodic deep‑cleaning projects, carpet shampooing, and window washing as scheduled.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests who request additional items or have special housekeeping needs.
- Adhere to the shift schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekend rotations, to ensure 24‑hour coverage.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; hospitality‑focused training is a plus.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No strict upper limit, but candidates should be physically fit and able to perform the duties required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience as a room attendant or in a similar housekeeping role.
