Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our vibrant coffeehouse located in Maguwuharjo. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages, adhering to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular cleaning of equipment, countertops, and service areas.
- Handle cash transactions, process electronic payments, and accurately record daily sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other consumables; assist with stock replenishment and waste reduction.
- Engage with customers, answer questions about menu items, provide recommendations, and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new drinks, brewing techniques, and company standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Complete a minimum of 25 shifts per month, adhering to the schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 27 years or younger.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the employer).
- Not currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program.
- Strong time‑discipline and a genuine willingness to work.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Prior barista experience is welcome but not mandatory; we also consider enthusiastic beginners.
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 shifts per month and adapt to a rotating schedule.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
