Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential new borrowers, encouraging them to join Amartha’s capital‑loan program.
- Conduct on‑site economic counseling for households, helping members understand budgeting, savings, and repayment strategies.
- Perform thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, adhering to Amartha’s policies, procedures, and risk‑assessment criteria.
- Manage the full collection cycle, including timely follow‑up and debt recovery from borrowers.
- Maintain accurate field reports, documentation, and data entry to support the central credit team.
- Collaborate with local community leaders and partner organizations to build trust and expand the borrower network.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product offerings, regulatory changes, and best practices in micro‑finance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per original posting).
- Gender: Open to all genders; women are highly preferred.
- Own reliable transportation for daily field visits.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport in rural communities.
- Resilience and adaptability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community outreach, or financial services is a plus.
