Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Kolektor Lapangan to join our field collection team covering the Majalengka area in West Java. As a frontline representative of our financial services organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers, collecting overdue payments, and ensuring the secure handling of collected funds. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will interact with a diverse client base, collaborate with internal departments such as treasury and warehouse, and develop valuable negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review the daily visit schedule provided by the Operations Supervisor, ensuring all assigned accounts in the Majalengka territory are covered efficiently.
- Conduct on‑site visits to customers with payment arrears ranging from 1 to 60 days, presenting payment options and negotiating settlement terms in a professional manner.
- Accurately record collection amounts, payment methods, and any promised future payments using the company’s mobile data entry system.
- Prepare and submit daily collection reports, highlighting any disputes, partial payments, or accounts that require escalation to the credit control team.
- Deliver collected cash or bank transfers to the designated teller at the branch, ensuring proper documentation and receipt acknowledgment.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to receive and verify returned vehicle units or assets, attaching all supporting paperwork such as payment receipts and collection forms.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while addressing customer concerns, providing clear explanations of payment terms, and fostering goodwill to encourage future timely payments.
- Identify patterns of recurring delinquency and suggest proactive measures to the credit risk department for potential account restructuring.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, data privacy, and compliance with local financial regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any age; no upper age limit.

- Zero to two years of experience in collections, sales, or customer service is acceptable; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic numeracy and proficiency with mobile data entry tools.
- Valid driver’s license (A or B) and personal vehicle for travel within the assigned area.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and a results‑oriented mindset.
