The Business Partner Staff will serve as the frontline ambassador of Amartha’s loan‑program, identifying new borrowers, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring timely repayment. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new micro‑entrepreneur and household clients by conducting outreach activities, community events, and personal visits.
  • Educate potential borrowers on Amartha’s loan products, eligibility criteria, and the benefits of participating in a cooperative‑based financing model.
  • Perform in‑depth household economic assessments, gathering data on income streams, expenses, and repayment capacity.
  • Prepare and submit financing applications, ensuring all documentation complies with Amartha’s internal policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and credit analyses to determine loan eligibility, using both quantitative tools and qualitative judgment.
  • Maintain regular follow‑up with active borrowers, offering financial coaching, monitoring loan utilization, and providing solutions to any repayment challenges.
  • Execute collection activities, including reminder calls, home visits, and coordinated payment plans, while adhering to ethical and respectful practices.
  • Document all client interactions in Amartha’s CRM system, generating reports that inform regional performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with regional supervisors, product managers, and training coordinators to continuously improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Travel daily within the assigned territory, using personal transportation to reach remote villages and ensure coverage of the entire service area.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 33 years old (preferred range 18‑30).
  • Gender: Open to all genders; female candidates are given preference due to community dynamics.
  • Vehicle: Ownership of a reliable personal vehicle (motorcycle or car) is required for daily field visits.
  • Experience: No prior work experience is mandatory; however, previous involvement in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
  • Core Competencies: High integrity, honesty, attention to detail, strong communication skills, resilience, and disciplined work habits.
  • Technical Skills: Basic digital literacy, ability to use mobile applications for data entry, and familiarity with simple financial analysis.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work on‑site in the field Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend activities for community events.
