Introduction
The District Representative for Corn Ampana will act as the pivotal link between Bayer’s agricultural solutions and the farming community within the assigned district. This role is focused on driving market penetration, fostering strong relationships with channel partners such as Retailer 2 outlets, and empowering farmers to adopt high‑yield, sustainable corn production practices. The ideal candidate will combine a solid educational foundation with hands‑on sales experience, a passion for agronomy, and the ability to communicate complex ROI concepts in a clear, farmer‑friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted marketing and sales programs for Bayer’s corn portfolio across both channel partners (Retailer 2) and directly with farmers.
- Conduct regular face‑to‑face visits to customers and channel partners, gathering market intelligence, addressing concerns, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Educate farmers on best‑practice field management, including ROI calculations, detailed record‑keeping, and continuous monitoring from planting through harvest.
- Lead the implementation of Bayer Farmer’s Community (BFC) initiatives, facilitating knowledge sharing, field demonstrations, and community events that reinforce Bayer’s brand loyalty.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive activity reports, progress dashboards, and monthly financial usage statements to the field coordinator.
- Collaborate with regional sales managers, agronomists, and product specialists to tailor solutions that meet local agronomic challenges.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing actionable insights that shape future promotional strategies.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and ensure all interactions are logged in the company’s CRM system.
- Support post‑sale service by coordinating with technical support teams to resolve any product‑related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Agribusiness, Agricultural Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, agronomy advisory, or farmer outreach within the agricultural sector.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No maximum age limit; candidates should demonstrate the physical ability to travel extensively across the district.
- Key Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation capabilities.

- Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with frequent field travel.
