Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, answer menu‑related questions, and provide recommendations based on seasonal specials.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks, including specialty coffee preparations.
- Serve meals and beverages, monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, and promptly address any concerns or special requests.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems, issue receipts, and handle cash or card transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings, silverware, and high‑touch surfaces.
- Support inventory management by reporting low stock items, assisting with restocking, and ensuring proper storage of perishable goods.
- Collaborate closely with fellow front‑of‑house team members, fostering a cooperative environment that emphasizes teamwork and mutual respect.
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training new staff members, sharing best practices for service excellence and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification; high school (SMA) or equivalent is acceptable for entry‑level candidates.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a head barista or 2‑3 years as a barista, with proven ability to manage coffee preparation and service.
- Demonstrated experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills: responsible, honest, disciplined, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and basic English to interact with diverse guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
